Look. I know what your thinking. ‘Wow, This dude is literally reading these terrible books. Humor, kiddish, and lame!’
I totally get that!
But, read it! It’s not that bad!!! The first time I tried reading this or these books was on the way to a camping trip. My friend had recommended these to me. Now just so you know this was 2 or 3 years ago, I can’t remember, so no, I did not just read these for the first time. That would be embarrassing… If this was all you were reading about to go into 9th grade!! WOw. I mean that student should at least be in 5th grade.
But then again, people move at different paces. I still think these books are great! don’t get me wrong. They are hysterical!
Ok. So camping trip right. Couldn’t get past the first page!!! Didn’t make sense at all, my imagination could not picture it!
But, I tried again about a month later. The best thing was that this kid has the IQ of a 5 year old. He’s 13 I think but his brains not! Usually I hate! HATE. Stupid comedy. But hey, when you have Greg(iq of 5 year old) and Rowley(iq of 2 year old) best friends, ya can’t go wrong with that.
It’s like watching 2 Tommy Boy’s
1) talk about plans to get girls to like them.
2) draw stupid pictures and play video games.
The story revolves around these 2 characters as they face school, and try to pass, while dealing with the ‘drama’ that happens in school. One of the best parts (and I don’t know if it’s in this one) is where they literally draw a love triangle (except it’s not a triangle) of everyone in the class because they want to see which girls are single so they can make a good impression before the dance they have.
Greg has dreams of marrying Holly Hills,
But,
Rowley is getting all the luck from the girls!
Holly Hills thinks Rowley is cute but Rowley doesn’t act on it.
Greg thinks Holly Hills is cute, but she doesn’t think he is.I
And don’t forget the IQ levels…
Anyway, this is a great book, adults probably not for yall, but for the average 3rd-middle schooler these books are top-notch.
